This is a Point of Purchase product that I created from concept to design for a class. I wanted to create a POP product that would appeal to young adults and their social needs. With the stigma of young adults having promiscuous sex, I created a product that would address this issue while keeping the subject matter lighthearted. This POP features both male and female condoms, each individually packaged for times when things "POP UP." The intention was for people to pick these up as an impulse buy as they saw them near registers at local stores.
The individual package designs for the condoms have 1950's male and
female characters spouting cheesy pick-up lines. The different colors
of the packages are coordinated to match the scents and colors of the
contained condoms. When you open the package, the condom literally pops
up. The back and inside of the packages contain the same information
that any standard condom package would in regards to use and sexual
disease prevention.
