Quaver & Quaver
Complimentary Typeface
Myself and two other students (Nick McCosker and Sophie Brown) collaborated on this project. We spent six months of a year drawing, tracing and perfecting our letterforms. We wanted to create a yin and a yang for a font - one serif and one sans-serif.
What we ended up with was two fully functional typefaces with over 400 characters that works in any latin based language, complete with ligatures and discretionary alternates.
