The PurpleLeap program is a aimed at providing IT training to senior college students to make them job ready. Many institutes have tied up with PurpleLeap for their pre-final and final year students. However, a major challenge faced by the PurpleLeap faculty while conducting classes was the disinterest of students in engaging in the learning process once they leave the classroom. They decided to create an online learning system that was not only useful but fun as well. While I was involved in the discussion and have been part of many brainstorming sessions, I also designed a few features myself like the daily diary which the enabled the teachers to keep their students accountable for their work, the group discussion feature and so on.
