Surreal Photomanipulation
What started out as vacation photos ended up turning into a full-on exploration where blurring the lines between photography and painting was the result.
Being from the midwest, I had a very dreamlike feeling about riding the Puget Sound ferry. This influenced me to turn ordinary vacation photos into a depiction of my emotions at the time. While over-saturated and perhaps a bit whimsical, these photos have a bit of a dark, unsettling feeling that comes with exploring new territory.
