The beginning of autumn has found me to be very busy with tending to the other responsibilities in my life. My most important ones infact...my children. Now that they have gotten off to college and started kindergarten I find myself with the time to recognize and pay attention to the inspiration that surrounds my world. A recent trip to our local farmer's market on a sunny beautiful day allowed me to really take in the fall produce, flowers and the colors associated with them all. The pumpkins, squash, goards, eggplants, and mums seemed to standout most prominately. Their texture and colors were amazing! It was the orange and tangerine paired with lovely purple and a hint of a gray green that caught my eye.  These colors and the textures associated with nature's abundance that day is what I took home and created a new pattern design..."Puffs".
