This illustration and design was particularly exciting, in terms of print technique and style exploration for an already-established India brand.
The Bicycle was developed for usage on womens apparel, phone cases, notebooks, cushion covers and other lifestyle accessory products.
We experimented with a new printing technique in the R&D stage, and I got to use painterly, more organic brush strokes for a completely new look at Chumbak, versus their normal bright flat colour screen prints.
The Bicycle/Cycle design was later tiled for mass screen-printing as in the Sunglasses/Spectacles case design (above image), to allow it to be used on more products.
