Protest Through Creative Expression
2012 Pacific Northwest College of Art Illustration Senior Thesis
I have created four protest posters addressing four different issues that we are currently dealing with in America. These issues were first presented in the form of four protest songs from the 1960’s and 70’s. Through the use of abstract imagery and lines from each song, I have presented visual awareness to issues concerning: women’s health, environmental reform, economic struggle, and war.
