Propel is a made up renewable energy company that requires an identity and annual report to portray the companies performance over the last financial year. They’re a fairly new startup and there main business is in wind farms and hydro-electric dams.
The brand and identity were to reflect the dynamism and energetic nature of the industry and portray the company in a way that shows they’re forward moving and renewable. The Propel mark portrays all of these things well and with the three ‘wings’ appearing to be moving clockwise. The motion portrayed also works in conveying the renewable function of the company.
The report was designed landscape as the images of the scenery and landscapes were a major positive on this project. Conveying the scenic value of the wind farms worked much better in a landscape format.
