Pronto Storage Bench
Pronto tries to reinvent the traditional Monks Bench. Taking influence from this piece of multi-functional furniture; a tabletop set onto a chest in such a way that when the table is not in use, the top pivots to a vertical position and becomes the back of a Settle. This configuration allows easy access to the chest lid which forms the seat; to provide a piece of storage that meets the needs of a busy modern household. Created using materials such as solid Ash, powdercoated steel, quilted cushions and leather details, to provide a stylish, practical and compact storage solution for the entrance to any home.

The compartmentalised drawer provides a flexible space for everyday items. Designed around for essential items for leaving the house; the umbrella, gloves, scarves and keys; the drawer is able to provide space many different types of objects. The compartments created with painted MDF partitions can be customised by removing or adding divides aloowing for a highly flexible space. The partitions can also be totally removed to provide a large open drawer.
The colour used matches that of the seat cushion providing a splash of colour revealed only when the drawer is open..
The white powdercoated steel shoe rack provides space for about five pairs of shoes depending on their size. If required the rack can also be removed to provide a large flexible space for the optional baskets or for large items such as blankets or bags.
The seat cushion can be pulled over the top of the bench to provide a firm yet comfortable seat to sit on while putting on shoes. The cushion is detailed with brown leather straps that are used to secure the cushion in place.
When the cushion is not required it can be stored behind the white ash cabinet.
