Just because something is considered cost effective or throwaway marketing, it doesn't mean it has to look cheap.
My aim has always been to design something attractive enough to keep. A good promo piece needs to stand out to get noticed and convey the message or information quickly and clearly. This challenge is magnified (excuse the pun) when shrinking your page space to A6 or below.
