Tim Jones sought new creative solutions and graphic design support in developing communication pieces which would elevate the presence of his work and gain the attention of the right individuals in creative depts. at various agencies and organizations.

Tim Jones' photographic body of work of youth lifestyle was enhanced with art direction, illustration for a very special custom hand-lettering as a design element, to help bring more of the conceptual nature to the photography.
The idea here, was to juxtapose key image selects of Tim's work with hand-illustrated copy which was extracted from some of the most commonly pinned "inspiration" & quote pins currently found on Pinterest.com (and commonly shared on Instagram) which connected his film-based and heavy youth-demographic targeted photography shoots with current contemporary, social media focused culture.

Additionally, Tim had recently photographed a fresh body of work of sports lifestyle images (most specifically for Nike.) Tim was looking to incorporate his latest work into a promotional campaign series, while also ensuring it's noticeability from a conceptual standpoint. After getting closely acquainted with Tim's photographic library history and understanding the exact situation in which Tim was working at time, I helped Tim to devised a campaign messaging strategy, "Lust for Life" to help convey the concept of the vibrant and passionate, raw sports/lifestyle energy which is signature of Tim's photography style.

I specially created a series of unique, hand-rendered illustrative graphic versions of the "Lust for Life" mantra as individual logos.
The organic, hand-rendered type conceptually follows the human element of Tim's sports lifestyle & portrait photography—yet visually contrasts it's very bold and sharp, clean vibrancy with gritty, pen and pencil rendered type.
TIm was eager to create final pieces which were sophisticated, yet simple. The mailers were developed in such a way that they would be incredibly eye-catching, most vibrant in color and have a super premium feel (from a production standpoint)—so we produced series of 8 oversized postcard sets, using the most 24pt. cardstock with soft-touch coating, polybag OE mailers.
