- Promiseland, Willow Creek Community Church’s Children’s Ministry, wanted to create a new visual identity that would match thePromiseland, Willow Creek Community Church’s Children’s Ministry, wanted to create a new visual identity that would match the major change in story they wanted to communicate. They used to be known as “the best hour in a child’s week,” but now they wanted to let parents know they were here to partner with them to help their children develop a “faith that sticks.”

A brand new logo needed to be created however an element of their previous brand that had equity in it was their handprint. The handprint underwent updating by having actual handprints made by some of the children. Those handprints were used as reference to the creating of the new one.

Throughout the hallways of the Promiseland areas are display boards on the walls that originally had stock photography of children printed upon them. It was decided to create new boards that communicate the new brand.
I put a team together to coordinate with and photograph actual Willow families. These boards were created to tell the story.
