Itinerant project intervention

  • Projecto Nómada
    [Nomadic Project]
  • Projecto Nómada[1] was presented as an itinerant project in 2009, through the appropriation of four places in the city of Oporto, Portugal.
The project aims to improve the value of the spatial understanding for a sculpture definition, using the Drawing as a tool for its successful accomplishment.
Drawing is used as a thought methodology, and in that establishment, the procedural nature is evident and unavoidable.
Every intervention was created without previous projects and built entirely in loco, taking the exhibition place like a workplace.

[1] "Projecto Nómada" was developed as a work project and artistic research and is an integral part of the Master's thesis “Do Espaço à Escultura: Transferências de um Corpo” (“From Space to Sculpture: Transfers from a Body”), fully available in the Library of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Oporto.
