The Washington Fellowship is program a at Liberty University which allows students to take one semester to live, work and study in our nation's capital. It is a fairly prestigious program; students have to meet certain academic requirements to even be considered.
With this in mind, my goal was to redesign the current logo (first logo shown below) to reflect distinction and professionalism while retaining a modern and simple feel. Though I originally preferred the square border for it's sturdy and defined look, my clients liked the circular design the best. In the end, this works well as the circle communicates wholeness, completion or well-roundedness - all goals of the Washington Fellowship.
