Understanding Product Semantics
This was done under a class room project at my design school IDC, IIT Bombay. The project aimed at understanding the users and designing a product according to the 'semantics' of the product. The user survey conducted helped in narrowing down what features define the speaker-ness of a speaker. The features and attributes further defined the form of the product.
The product statement was to design a contemporary speaker which has its roots in Indian classical music.
To understand Indian-ness, inspiration was taken from the instrument Veena
