Brooklyn-based Bottleneck Gallery’s “Where is My Mind!?” show marked one of their remaining group shows for 2013 while moving toward a focus more single artist formatted exhibitions. Seeing that the theme coincides a bit more with my own aesthetic/surreal choices in environmental exploration, I decided to take the theme and run a bit; trying new paper, new colors, and a bigger executed size. All daunting in their own right, the final piece turned out spectacular. Titled “Pretensive” and available through the gallery.

 

The show opened July 12 and ran for three weeks
