  • Luca Abate, from leading Melbourne industrial design studio Charlwood Design gave me the opportunity to experience life as a design consultant. Focusing on future medical technology I got a valuable insight into Charlwood Design’s product development process developing a new product from initial brief, to concept and through to prototype. Project key words: conceptual design, communication, project management and research tools. 

  • The monitor could easily be attached to clothes with a clip and a medical skin patch. The monitor is charged with induction. This is indicated with a pulsed light. The ultrasound transducer together with the medical skin patches are stored inside the charger when charging.
  • Light indicates user interaction and power status. To turn on or off hold for 3 seconds.
