Praça da República (Republic Square) is a popular place in Sao Paulo, known for historical political acts. Today the place is also very visited and known by a famous arts and crafts fair, held every Sunday, with artists from all around the country. This helped to transform Praça da República in a muticultural place, attracting many tourists and art lovers.
PRAÇA brand was created to help and enhance the local trade, attracting more visitors. The logo was inspired by the vernacular typography, very common in the fair, bringing the human appeal. One of the letters A was removed from the logo, to not repeat, suggesting diversity. The identity follows a iconography that represents the variety which the tourist will find there.
