Mash-up Publication
A mash-up of 3 different subjects: Hip Hop, Snowboarding, and Secret Societies. The mash up of these different subjects made creating a system representing each more difficult. There would be a few front matter items, such as the Lists and Letters section, which would repeat with every issue. Then there would be three feature articles, one for each of the three subjects.
Along with the publication, I also designed the "Power" masthead and a short animation advertisement. 
The front cover, featuring the masthead, as well as all three feature articles in Snowboarding, Hip Hop, and Secret Societies.

List: A front matter section that displays rankings of items related to the magazine. In this issue, it features VH1's rankings of The Greatest 100 Hip Hop Songs of All Time, which was a special that stretched over 5 episodes.
Opening page of the Hip Hop Feature Article: In every feature article, a background pattern is designed that relates to the article's content. For this feature on the Hip Hop group, CunningLynguists, the background features peaches and boomboxes, since some members are from Georgia, and old boomboxes reference the group's past.
