Inspired by Pink Floyd’s Mother, I wrote down a few lines of my own & designed a poster to express the same.

For the 2011 edition of the poster contest organized by socialdesignposter, the theme was The Power of Dialogue. “To reach the great purpose of the well-being of all humankind we should start from an internal disarment, start form The Power of Dialogue”.

Often, our pre conceived notions due to common belief disable us to understand or see the human in others. This in turn, creates boundaries and divides among people. The poster addresses this issue, and urges people to look beyond the mask, and connect with the human inside through dialogue and understanding.

"The Mela" was an event held at RGB 2012 (in NID) which gave students from various design schools across India a platform to showcase their work, collaborate and make connections. 

An attempt to intimidate and break common perception of Graphic Design Toh Koi Bhi Kar Sakta Hai, exploring the influence of structuralismon Graphic Design. The visual in the poster is inspired by the terminal architecture and layout at theBerlin Tegel Airport designed by structural architect Schulze-Fielitz.

Graphic Design Fridays is a brainchild of the PGDPD Graphic Design (NID) class of 2011. The concept is basically to come together every friday evening and share experiences and talk about specializations, interests, and inspiration related to design or otherwise. This was promoted to increase interaction among students and cultivate a habit of sharing, learning and staying inspired.
