"Portraits of Turkey" is a collection which is a result of one-month travel through Turkey, from Istanbul on the west, Dogubeyazit on the east to Nevsehir on the south. It shows ordinary people in their environments; workers, pensioners, schoolchildren and all others that make today's Turkish society. It shows life, still free ofhabits and caveats of various globalization trends, but life full of true human emotions and contact between people. The same contact that has been lost long time ago in "modern" western societies.
