ZAOLANE is an unusual
collective created in novembre 2011 by Paola, Elizabeth and Viviane.
The three artists
studied together at Gobelins, l'école de l'image (Paris) and graduated the same
year. They put their creativity and skills in common to create their first
piece of work "Portraits d'Archives". The good balance between each
artist's strengh and personality fed the pictures that have been litterally
created by "six hands".
d'Archives", was first exhibited at Fotofever art fair in Paris in november
2011, and raised a lot of interest. Elizabeth, Paola and Viviane are currently
working on their next pictures to complete "Portraits d'Archives".
They created an
astonishing series of works, inspired by 18th century paintings,
critical in their day of the Establishment.
It depicts parts of our contemporary History, our
ways of life and actual preocupations. It reflects our human condition and
stages the Establishment with a touch of irony!
