This began as a doodle, and grew to something more. I was always intrigued by the representation of Alexander the Great in the height of his reign. On certain pieces of currency he was shown having horns, a symbol in the day of deity or supernatural power. My mind always jumps to conclusions, this one being "maybe this was the accurate portrayal?" So I drew it out in graphite, moving it into digital coloring. It remains one of my favorite little drawings.
