  • The chandelier prepared consists of simple geometric shapes that are defined as a pixelled organic body by its being collective and distorted due to the intolerance of porcelain as regards angular shapes.
  • The positive for casting was made of glass. It gives a smoother surface and emables fine, geometric shapes.

  • The bigest casting form, secured with straps. 
  • The primary aim of the design is to stress the transparency of the porcelain and to illustrate the powers working in the kiln during fireing it up to 1300℃ . This bends the individual pieces and makes the series-producable light always different. The fraction of the shape suggests the fragility of the material and the refraction, this results in an unusual tension with which the chandelier attracts attention. Imagine that you stand under an object that “grows” out of the ceiling, but —opposed to usual chandelieres— not vertically directed.
