Logo design, branding and brochure - Plas Tan y Bwlch

Rheidol Developments were looking for a graphic designer to help promote their spectacular Grade II listed building, acquired for development on the Ceredigion coastline. A resplendent Georgian and Victorian mansion, Plas Tan y Bwlch was in the process of being converted into 13 individually unique apartments by the Aberystwyth based property developers.

I was commissioned to work on the project that included a new logo, branding and a 24 page brochure. After a site visit to the Plas Tan Y Bwlch Mansion it's safe to say I was overwhelmed by the fabulous architecture and grand entrance details on the historic building. It proved an ideal source of inspiration for this project. A local photographer also provided some spectacular images of the residence and the surrounding area, making my job even easier.

A 24 page format was finally specified to allow plenty of space for apartment plans and photography and after working on the copy writing for the development a clean, consistent layout provided an impressive introduction to this superb lifestyle opportunity.

Although the client loved the idea of incorporating foil block, costs were a consideration for their short print run. Thankfully a local digital print provider sourced an unusual pearl platinum stock for the covers, giving the final print a metallic sheen. Combined with a recycled uncoated substrate for the inner pages this brochure proved a huge success with my client.
