This was a student project where we were required to take a generic airline ticket and redesign it to be more visually appealing as well as functional. The design uses lots of icons to represent certain aspect of the airport in order to cut down on the amount of text on the ticket. The design also incorporates sections to visually represent the movement from one place to another.

The second aspect of the project was to develop a mock up for a smartphone application for use by travelers and airport visitors. The design mimics the design of the plane ticket with the use of icons to represent areas in the airport as well as travel assistance including maps, local restaurants, local hotels and taxi-cab service.
