This Pipe Dreams machine calls up a crafty state-of-mind for the hapless dreamer. The machine is a potent mix of laboured cooking metaphors, shooting ingredients from a well-stocked dream-pantry through a system of blenders, mixing bowls, sieves and pop culture control-systems until it all ends up in a healthy noggin. There are dream aids for the sleepless but take care not to mix your sleepers with your sour mash.
This piece has been imagined and illustrated for a series of cards produced by AHD Paper Co. They supply locally manufactured and environmentally-friendly products showcasing work by a group of hand-picked Australian and international artists.
