Capitoline Hill Identity System
This was an identity system created for the historical Capitoline Hill in Rome, the legendary spot upon which Romulus began his city. It now houses a museum in addition to ancient-, renaissance-, and later-century architecture. The trademark features the (currently) most apparent freestanding structure on the hill: the clock tower; it also hints at Michelangelo's twelve-pointed star, which references the zodiac. Additionally requested was a signage system including a map to designate important lookout areas and museum entrances. The identity system includes a letterhead, business card, brochure, signage, and trademark style guide. Project completed while studying abroad in Rome.
