Illustration for Piaui Magazine, last December. The article was on a police action, the police force busted drug dealers with drugs money. However the same money was stolen by other policemen inside the police station.
1st Sketches - The briefing was not to show the policemen's faces. Split the page with the police action on top, and the money issue bellow. Something like "a modern version of pulp fiction books cover from the 50's"
One point the journalist brought up at the pencil stage, was about the police action that happened inside a shopping mall, they were undercover and not wearing any kind of uniforme, cap, heavy wheapon or mask. The task here is to hide their faces without any artifice
Between old school books cover or vintage movie poster style... I ended up following the King Creole poster art direction.
