Photo Retouch Work

The following pieces are examples of various types of photo retouch work I have done. The pieces range from simple crop and color adjustments, to more complicated work restoring 50 year old photos literally crumbling apart. Each image will also include the “Before:” caption; explaining what I originally started with.

Issue addressed: Make-up did not match her natural skin tone; resulting in pale-lifeless looking arms, dis

Issues addressed: Photo was in extremely poor shape. Large water stains found across the bottom and left side. The edges were literally disintegrating; especially along the right side,half the curtain was actually missing.

Issues addressed: Photo was taken in very low light with bad flash lighting. The young boxer also blinked during the shot, thus taking away from the overall pose.

Issues addressed: Picture was taken in a bathroom mirror, and looked somewhat cheesy.

Issues addressed: While the photo angle looked good, the coloring was very muted and dull.

Issues addressed: while the lighting looked good; the image focus was not obvious in the original dimensions, and the coloring took away from the sunset light behind the tree branch.

Issues addressed: The 3 photos were taken with the intent to merge them together later on in photoshop. Once merged some slight color adjustments were also added in the final touches stage.
