It was suggested to me that to help with my third year architecture project I should visit art exhibitions whenever I could to get an idea of how work is shown and how the spaces feel. These are images of pieces that stood out to me just by how simply they were exhbited. Some of the pieces I have always wanted to see, as I have an interest in cubism. I visited The Collection in Lincoln, the Tate & Tate Modern in London and the Baltic in Newcastle. I came to the conclusion based on these photographs that the work should exhbit itself without help. If you are drawn in to the art, it does not matter if the walls are anything but white.
