Retouching photos is probably my favourite part of photography. I would love to retouch your photos for free if you allow me to use them in my portfolio while giving you proper credit as the photographer.

I will do:

Photos that require the tools that Photoshop offers like clone stamp, levels and curves, dodge and burn, noise reduction and blurring.
Photos that are picked out by you, the photographer, for a specific reason.

I won't do:

Photos that only require minor brightness and contrast or straightening.
Vintage, a splash of colour in black and white or any other gimmicky styles.
Entire batches of photos.

Take a look at my work below and send me an email at jennarowsell@hotmail.com with a few photos.
I took this in Venice with a point and shoot camera. The original is composed well but I wouldn't give it a second glance because the underexposed, over-cool shadows are indicative of the class of camera it was taken with, along with the over-exposed, over-cyan sky. Applying dodging and burning, however, made it look professional and perfectly exposed.
I stitched these two photos together, matched their exposures, cropped to put the castle in the center and increased the warm hues.
I wasn't happy with the original photo at all because with such a busy background and such a small dog, he didn't stand out enough. I clone stamped out the beach debris that was competing for his attention and increased the contrast to make his dark fur stand out against the light rocks instead of basically having grey on grey.
Although the original photo might impress most people with that sunburst, it wouldn't hold up to a photographer's scrutiny so I dodged the bottom portion of the photo to bring back the details in the puddle, path, fence post and field.
I set the white balance to tungsten but it still came out way too warm, with little difference between the hue of my hair, skin and lips. I had to adjust the tone and colour balance to bring the skin warmth way down without adding a blue or purple cast my lips, or green to my hair. And yes I am that pale.
I thought the original was perfect until I started playing around with the colour balance and realized that his skin was not that pink, there was no purple in the tree trunk and that his eyes were more blue. I also did some minor retoucing of his complexion.
