The task for this assignment, was to create two mixed media pieces that explore a range of techniques and focus on a specific style. The topic i particularly wanted to focus on was a stylised, techno, sci fi approach which used a variety of techniques related to the theme.

 

As I have never done a piece using the techniques i used for these pieces, it was interesting to see what sort of concept and techniques i would create based on that and the overall theme. The techniques i applied to the pieces to suit the style were abstract, compositing, light shaping, shadows, highlights, background removal, colour blending, and layout.
