I first discovered horchata in the winter at an excellent Mexican spot in the 'burbs--so yes, like Vampire Weekend, I was enjoying drinking horchata in December. Much like all my pieces, this was an example of me applying my curiosity to something new which I wanted to know a hell of a lot more about. Going down that path with a ton of questions is always fun. I love gathering a ton of very technical details, which I then make readily relatable to my audience, while hopefully both informing and entertaining. Read Less
