perspectrum clock | information design
A project born out of collaboration, the clock explores the visual curiosities of our reality. Time, in essence, becomes our own manifestation of reality and affects how we perceive the information within it. Working closely with a mechanical engineer, I designed a clock whose time can only be read in the reflection of the distorted image. The idea is to draw attention to the way we perceive and interact with our surroundings.

This information graphic illustrates the different fields I researched in the making and designing of Perspectrum. The inside ring shows the six fields of study, the middle ring shows the subset of each field, and the outer ring shows all the terms, laws, experiments and people I noted over the course of the project.
