This is a self-exploratory zine focusing on how I am influenced as a designer. The zine is split into 4 core areas that have influenced my life, and have been instrumental in me wanting to be a graphic designer.

The zine is inspired by the Antoine de Saint-Exupery book named “The Little Prince”. The Little Prince was my favourite book as a young girl and is still my favourite to this day. It is about the lovely innocent world of little children and how we forget our imaginations. We forget the dreaming and sense of wonder when you see a star as we grow older, and start thinking of “matters of consequence”.

Symbolically I imagine myself as the little prince who is from a different planet to Earth, a huge and creative place the prince has not yet fully explored. In the zine, the earth graphic is covering my whole head and represents how I’m influenced by everything around me. It shapes me and so my identity is the world around me.
