I am Matt Higgins, otherwise known as Miggins. I am an enthusiastic & ambitious young designer, who from early on in my life had a passion for arts of all different kinds.
What Did I Need To Achieve?
Through dealing with many clients over the first year or so of freelance work, I found clients could not take me seriously if I did not. So, how do I characterize my design style and hint at my personality while successfully integrating my initials into one solid iconic logo?
Here's Where I Was At.
Over the past few years I came up with temporary logos for my freelance work, but I never created a real name for myself. I referred to myself as MH Design... but, I found it quite lame. I tried to "get inspired" and create a name out of thin air and miserably failed with names like, "Bless'designs", "Anoint'design", the list goes on. It finally hit me, use the name people have given me: making me feel like Spider-Man or something. Hey, give me a superhero name, I'll take it. This nick-name given to me was none other than Miggins, combining the first initial of my name with the last six letters of my family name.
Anyways, over the years I couldn't find an iconic design that clicked, until that fateful day on November 17th, 2012 in the Charlotte International Airport waiting for my flight to Boston.
