People's Palace felt... pretty
Part of the UrbanArt 2007 event in Bucharest, my work was one of the large scale slides projected on the People's Palace.
The People's Palace in Bucharest is a controversial public building in Bucharest, judging by the amount of ink spilled to praise or demonize it. Well, it made a very good canvas for my work. I wanted my image to be referential, to play with the building, to use it as a conceptual canvas, not only for its mere size – as many other artists that had slides in the event did – but for its controversial symbolic charge.
All in all, it looked awesome from far away (a kilometer or so). This picture was taken from the Constitution Square, 200m away from the building.
