Penzeys is a high quality, family-owned, mail-order purveyor of spices. This ad campaign is based on the idea that each spice has a personality. I began this project with a series of real-life online explorations in the form of craigslist ads and a dating profile for individual spices. I then created a spice personals page modeled after the Village Voice Classifieds section in which I wrote personal ads for many of the spices in the Penzey's catalog. The contact information for Penzeys is displayed at the top of the page for anyone who wants to party with some Rosemary or Vietnamese Extra Fancy Cinnamon.
