In October of 2010, Penn’s View Hotel celebrated their 20 year anniversary. With that, they wanted to do something special as a take away for their guests during their festivities celebrating their family owned and operated gem of a hotel as well as their attached restaurant, Ristorante Panorama. I proposed the idea of a booklet of family recipes since we were looking for a way to also incorporate the restaurant’s history into something personal and reflective of the family who has made the business so successful over the past 20 years.
The collaboration included photographer, Dominic Episcopo, who took beautiful shots of some of the featured food while the recipes were selected and written by Carlo Sena. The photographs were absolutely wonderful to work with and fit in perfectly with the original layout and design of the piece. Working with Carlo on this cookbook was an absolute pleasure.
