One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
For this brief, I was asked to create a front cover for the book 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' by Ken Kesey and to create insert illustrations. For the illustrations, I chose to concentrate on the main characters and how the lead character McMurphy influenced them. I looked at human anatomy and explored different body parts that related to the out comings of the characters. I carried on the theme of anatomy for my book cover and used the head as the main focal point. This was to round up the events of the book and for my illustrations to work in unison.
