Here’s my new set of Babushka dolls! Unlike my first set of Monkey dolls, this one has a different topic and approach to it.
I’ve dedicated this set to peasants and humble people who are hardworking, who cherish tradition and handicrafts and aren’t pressured by trends and fast-paced lifestyle of big cities. In accordance with that, I’ve chosen a certain color palette and used only natural pigments to paint the dolls.
This set consists of four dolls, that I perceive as a family: mother, father, daughter and son.
I must say that working on this set has made this autumn even more enjoyable.
