Design Concept Statement
BSE Designs was commissioned to design the headquarters for Parlophone Records located in London, England. As the label of the Beatles, Coldplay, and many other distinguished artists, Parlophone Records has a renowned history of musicians. The goal was to keep the space clean, modern, flexible and integral with their past and present artists. Instruments used by the musicians, as well as memorabilia will be showcased in the museum where the public can interact and learn about the label’s past and present artists. Inspiration will be taken from the contemporary branding of the label. The spaces to to be designed include the entrance, lobby, museum, restaurant, kitchen, and restrooms. BSE will complete the following design phases: Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
