Description
Roughly once a week, I produce TV-themed fan art for NY Magazine's pop culture blog, Vulture. For this project I decided to draw the cast of NBC's Parks and Recreation as animated characters.
  • For this project I wanted to draw the cast of NBC's Parks and Recreation as animated characters. Originally the plan was to draw the cast as Muppets, but that idea was scrapped and the focus was switched to more of a "Saturday morning cartoon" style.

    In the interest of time, I only drew some of the cast to start. However, shortly after the images were posted the show asked that I draw the rest of the cast.

    Actress/ comedian Rhetta (Donna) enjoyed her depiction so much that she began using it as her Twitter avatar.
