from Amazon.com An enjoyable game for any 2 to 4 people to play over and over again, this Parcheesi has wonderful and attractive design. The green water buffalo, red tigers, blue elephants (which resemble the pokémon Phanpy and are my favorites) and yellow camels are fun, bright, appealing little plastic pieces that add to the game's entertainment value. I love it! An enjoyable game for any 2 to 4 people to play over and over again, this Parcheesi has wonderful and attractive design. I started by thinking about some simple ways the game could be more appealing. A simple change would be to give it a theme. Since the origins of the game date back to India, I looked for inspiration in that culture. Next I thought about the components. By making the various movers animals instead of generic wooden pawns we were able to age down the appeal of the game. To keep it from going too young, I stylized the animals. In this way I was able to create a broad appeal for the game.
