A trailer that presents the capabilities and benefits of the ParamountMovies.com web site and the UltraViolet movie format. The key message is ParamountMovies.com is the online destination to purchase UltraViolet copies of Paramount films and redeem digital downloads from hard copy purchases. An additional point is an easy presentation of the UltraViolet format.
I was commissioned to do this trailer for the ParamountMovies.com website by the Paramount Home Entertainment division of Paramount Pictures. Other than some brief guidelines and the directive that it be animated similar to previous project I did, I was given free reign to design. I wrote script and developed a storyboard that went through several revisions. Then I made up style frames and created all the graphics in Illustrator. Everything was then animated in After Effects.
Paramount was able to get a voice actor (Aaron Landon) to read my script for the narration. They also provided all official logos, DVD covers and movie clips featured.
