Un bus empapelado/ A wrapped bus

UN bus empapelado / A wrapped bus

This bus was donated by The Rockefeller Foundation to The National University of Colombia in 1968.
After many years "on-duty" and some owner's transfers, the vehicle was put out of service and abandoned
in the university campus still paying taxes.
*A wrapped bus was made up of numerous document copies related to the vehicle's story glued to its surface.
The bus belonged to a public entity, so, in order to intervene it, we had to request official permission.
With the action the object became a landmark into the campus, showing its reality  to the university community.
*Empapelado (wrapped) is a word used in Colombia to describe when someone is involved into legal matters and bureaucratic affairs
and has lots of papers to read and to deal with.
