I have a love/hate relationship with the Calif desert. It is all at once majestic and mysterious and hot and wasted. Some days I drive through and cannot wait for the drive to end. Others, the light will play with one single element in my view and everything changes. These images are from a recent visit to a once glamour filled city in the California desert.
Being a disabled photographer I have a hard time getting around in any particular city we visit. This trip I was blessed to have a mobility scooter with me that allowed me to just ride up and down the once glitzy town. It was great fun for me and produced some images I rather liked.
