wet charcoal, sponge, object rubbings, paper on wall
An homage to Waterman Rm 201, where generations of aspiring artists have left their (stray) mark(s) and the charcoal dust in the cracks is older than the freshmen entering. I used wet charcoal and direct rubbings to capture and illustrate the objects, textures, and atmosphere of the room.
