Painting: Inventing Color

Day 1 of painting.
Step two.
Notice how I lengthened the fingers of the hands and used more vibrant color.
This is the final painting.
By adding in some different tones of the colors I was using, it helps the eye bounce around the picture.
This is a painting I made in ART 120. It was fun because the objects I was painting from were all white. Our teacher had us pick still life objects, paint them white, and then proceed to paint the picture from there. The reason for doing this was to allow us to create color and apply it to the objects without being influenced by their true colors.

Painting: Inventing Color

By using still life that was painting all white, I was able to paint this 12x12 painting and invent my own color for the objects.
